WEAK February 4, 2009 Reviewer:  Cafreen "Cafreen" (Temecula, CA)  See all my reviews >

The swinging mechanism is SO WEAK! I had my 8 pound 4 week old on here and it barely swung even on the highest setting. I can't imagine what it would be like if the baby were any heavier. I am returning this tomorrow. What a dissapointing buy.

Nice buy! February 16, 2009 Reviewer:  life is good "Happy Wife" (ny)  See all my reviews >

Ok, First you need to understand that this is a travel swing so it is a little wobbly, but still a good buy. second, I put my child in it but at first it would not swing him on high or low, and he is 1 month and 9 pounds. However, I learned that you must push the swing first then the swing keeps the momentum. it is not meant to swing your child from a stand still, And remember to put batteries in it also. I am happy with it.

Weak, DANGEROUS swing! July 3, 2009 Reviewer:  Kristen A. Hopkins "MonKey's MoMMy" Real Name (Hattiesburg, MS)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this swing online when my son was born. From the beginning, it was very weak, even when I pushed it when I turned it on. Out of the 5 different speeds, only ONE worked- the fastest.. which barely moved the swing at all. After replacing the batteries SEVERAL times, the swing didn't work any better. The worst was still to come.... My baby was sitting in the swing (not swinging, but sitting), and the part that attaches the swing to the frame BROKE OFF on the left side, making the swing fall to the ground with my son in it!!! He was terrified and began to scream. He could have seriously been injured!! After contacting target about this problem, they refused to take the item back because of their 90 day return policy! So I'm stuck with a broken swing, the chance that my son could have been injured, a ruined reputation for Fisher Price, and also for Target stores. DO NOT BUY!

Gets the job done August 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Mama Blaire See all my reviews >

This is overall a great portable swing. The legs won't wobble as long as you have them open all the way. You do have to give it a little push to start and it makes a clicking sound, I hardly count those as "cons". I've had this swing from day one with my daughter and the lowest setting is not at all too fast for a newborn. Now, it's on the highest setting and it has slowed down a bit as she has gotten heavier but at 15 pounds my daughter is still rocked to sleep by the swinging motion. This swing is super easy to move around and put back together after washing. I recommend for non-fussy moms who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a swing that will only be used for short period of time.

Great Product! March 24, 2009 Reviewer:  KNHsmummy24 (Chester, Virginia)  See all my reviews >

We just recently purchased this swing for our son, who is 10 lbs. He absolutely loves it! And yes, you do have to give it a small push to start, but it just keeps going and going. It is totally worth the price. We chose this one because we bought the bouncer, and we were looking for something that we can bring with us where ever we go. We haven't taken it with us yet, but I know we will. If we were given the oppertunity again, this swing would be on the top of our list!!!

Great swing! September 21, 2009 Reviewer:  Brand New Mommy See all my reviews >

My daughter unfortunately only naps in her swing, so when we decided to visit grandparents we were terrified we would have a fussy baby on our hands. She loved this swing just as much as the $150 she has at home, and it put her right to sleep! Very sturdy, and easy to assemble.

Great for the Price July 15, 2009 Reviewer:  2nd time mama See all my reviews >

I got this swing for my daughter when she was 1 week old. I got this swing because it is a space saver! I got to admit that it will not move her if I dont give her a push first. So if you dont mind giving the swing a small push to get it going! I dont mind it at all. She is 15 pounds now and we have used it almost everyday for 5 months and the batteries have not died once! The only problem that I am having with it is the more she gains in weight the more the swing seems to struggle. It seems that the swing has to work harder, you can hear it click across the room.

Baby Loves It October 5, 2009 Reviewer:  Riley's Mommy (Vista, CA)  See all my reviews >

I purposely chose this swing because it is made to travel. I live a few hundred miles away from my family and instead of buying duplicates of everything I wanted something that I could fold up and haul around easily. The stand and the seat both fold, however, it doesn't fold completely flat because of the motor housing. The packaging says is has five speeds but you'd have to have a transmission for that. It can be a little wobbly but the older swings used to be worse. It's low enough to the ground that I feel comfortable letting baby use it frequently. I bought a rechargable battery system to be more green anyways so going through batteries left and right is not an issue for me. It has its flaws but what product doesn't? My son has acid reflux and cannot lay flat and it's hard for him to sleep. This swing helps comfort him and rock him to sleep when just plain Mom won't do. For $$ it was a fantastic investment. Wouldn't you pay $$ for even one good night of sleep with a newborn? I've gotten at least fifteen nights of sleep because of this swing and he's only 6 weeks. It was a steal of a deal and I don't know what the other people are complaining about.

great swing September 6, 2009 Reviewer:  momof2 (chicago)  See all my reviews >

this is a great swing which comes up to all that it boasts. its portable; with a little disassembly it even fits into my suitcase. It rocks at only one speed but that is quite solid. It is not flimsy like some reviews suggest it is simply not rigid but flexible which is better, i would not contest the safety of the product, you just need to make sure youve assembled it correctly. My 12 pound baby is rocking away in it at full speed! i dont even need to give it a push start but maybe thats coz my batteries are new. overall great purchase great price.

Better than a rocking chair December 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Grandma's best friend (Oklahoma City, OK)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this to keep at my house for my grandson when he was one month old. All I had to do was put him in it and within minutes he was asleep. He is now one year old and a big boy and he still wants to get in it when he is tired. It still rocks even with all that weight in it. The different speeds have always worked. I especially like it because it doesn't take up much room and is easy to move around.
